One of our key goals is to prepare our participants for their life AFTER their build. That means developing a plan for job training, internships, and interview/resume workshops.

Through programs like “Road to Pro” from Home Depot, courses through local community colleges, and certification outreach from local organizations, we plan to get our participants formally trained in a skill of their choice.

If certification isn’t available for a specific skill, we will work with local groups to get our participants involved in an internship program with local businesses.

Through the Veterans Business Outreach Program and the Small Business Association, we will host workshops on how to build a solid resume. we will also conduct regular practice interview sessions with participants. All their video interviews to tell their story should help here as well.
