Robert Childree is a seasoned professional and dedicated family man, currently serving as President of Zannino Engineering, Inc., a geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing firm based near Richmond, VA. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus and has earned certificates in Accounting, Management, and Leadership and Ethics. He is currently pursuing his MBA at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business (Class of 2026).

Born and raised in Durham, NC, Robert began his career in automotive management before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps in May 2001. Over 20 years of honorable service, he rose to the rank of Captain as a Limited Duty Officer (LDO).

Robert is married to Denise, a neuroscientist, and they are raising three sons together. His family and community are central to his life, as is his unwavering support for the Duke Blue Devils.

Robert’s commitment to social issues deepened after following Daniel Belew’s YouTube channel and podcasts. These opened his eyes to the crisis of homelessness in America, particularly among veterans. Motivated by this awareness, Robert is dedicated to helping restore dignity and opportunity for fellow veterans through his service with Rescue + Residence.
